Punctuation Matters
Just ask Rogers about that single comma. Not enough attention to the details of punctuation may cost them a lot of money. (Via Neil Gaiman.)

Heh. I printed the origainl G&M article out and posted it outside my cubicle, to remind folks of the importance of a single comma. People who have read the article still poo-pooh it, though.
You'd think, if people can't appreciate punctuation for the clarity it gives, they could at least appreciate the fact that a lot of money can be lost by using it incorrectly. But then, I am no longer surprised by the silliness of people.
