Ummm, I kinda like the homes. Sorry. Of course, I think they suck for stealing "The Shire" descriptor, but heck, I love the rockery and wood.

I should probably say this was via Neil Gaiman. And yeah, the houses aren't actually that bad but, still . . .
It was inevitable and, I reckon, that they will sell quickly to Tolkien fans. Personally, I have a hard time with round doors. The stress on the hinges would be such that they will quickly droop. In any event, the developer will probably make a bundle.
Did you click on the map and see where Saruman and Gandalf live? Probably would be not as bad if the only lifted "the Shire" but there are SO many LotR references.
Yeah, I like the houses too. And the whole environmently friendly bit too. Although, I think the "Hobbit Holes" are a bit much . . .
