Halfway!

Woo hoo! I'm now 654 words more than halfway through the NaNo goal of 50,000 (for the mathematically challenged, that means I reached 25,654 words today). At this rate, I won't finish with a week to spare, like last year, but I will finish before the 30th. Which'll leave me some room in case the novel is longer than 50,000 words.

Tavie is now the owner of a very dirty horse, but he still can't see, so he doesn't really care how dirty it is. Ixion, who is pale in colour and likes to keep his coat clean, is a little disgusted and somewhat dubious about what they'll find under the dirt.
